Matt Baumann joined Special Assets in the Summer of 2001. Mr. Baumann is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Mr. Baumann spent his initial time with Special Assets as the President of Oddjobs, a professional handyman service in Glenview, IL purchased by Special Assets. Mr. Baumann is the founder of the Chicago West Loop Chapter of LeTip International, a professional networking organization. He has also earned his designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM). He is involved in many charities, notably WINGS (helping homeless and abused women and children) and Children’s Memorial Hospital.
